No. BMWorks Performance is an independent workshop specialising in BMW and MINI. It is not a dealership or a workshop authorised by the manufacturers, and it is not affiliated with BMW AG.

Maintenance and servicing, electronic diagnostics, mechanical and electrical repairs, timing chain, automatic gearbox, xDrive transfer case, coding, programming, software updates and ECU remapping.

The workshop's main specialisation is BMW and MINI. For remapping we can also assess other cars, motorbikes, campers and commercial vehicles. For other work, ask us to confirm before you come.

When the type of fault requires it, yes: we identify the cause of the problem before defining the work. Replacing parts without checking can increase costs and time.

It depends on the type of work, the model, the availability of parts and the outcome of the diagnosis. We tell you the timing after the assessment.

Generally oil and filter, air and cabin filters, a check of brakes, suspension, tyres and fluid levels, reading of errors and resetting of the service indicators. What is really needed depends on the vehicle and on the indications of the CBS system, when present.

Yes, for functions and modules compatible with the model, year and configuration of the vehicle. Before promising a function we check whether it is available on your car.

No. Availability depends on the hardware, control units and equipment present on the vehicle. If a function is not compatible, we tell you right away.

Yes, we carry out diagnosis and work on the transfer case and connected components. The cause of the problem must be checked before repairing or replacing the transfer case.

The result depends on the engine, the software, the condition of the vehicle and the calibration. Before the work we assess the specific configuration and tell you what to expect.

We cannot guarantee it. A different torque delivery can change the behaviour of the vehicle, but real consumption depends mainly on driving style, route and use. We do not quote savings percentages.

When technically possible we keep the original configuration, so you can consider restoring it. The procedure depends on the installed control unit.

It is better to fix any problems with the engine, turbo, fuel system, exhaust or transmission first. In those cases we do not proceed until the vehicle is in order.
